In honor of Guardians of the Galaxy‘s 10th anniversary, we are going to listen to a cover of all the awesome songs!

Guardians of the Galaxy was released August 1st 2014, and music played a huge part in this film. We’re going to do something a little different today, and hear a cover of all the pop songs featured in the film. So with no further ado, in roughly the order we hear them in the film, here we go. . .
‘I’m Not in Love’ originally by 10cc, here’s a jazzy cover by Karen Souza on the album Vintage Café: Lounge and Jazz Blends (Special Selection), Vol. 12
The Tectonics provide an energetic a cappella cover of ‘Come and Get Your Love’ originally by Redbone
I know some people will be mad I didn’t pick David Hasslehoff’s cover of Blue Swede’s ‘Hooked on a Feeling’, but I love this one by the Simon Fraser University Jazz Band
OK Panda gives an an acoustic cover of ‘Escape (The Piña Colada Song)’ by Rupert Holmes
David Bowie’s ‘Moonage Daydream’ is covered here by Lou Pérez
2Fitfhs covers ‘Fooled Around and Fell in Love’ originally by Elvin Bishop
The Runaways ‘Cherry Bomb’ is given a ‘dark acoustic’ version by Berzan
Lisa Loeb, on her album Lullaby Girl sings ‘O-O-H Child’, originally by The Five Stairsteps
Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ is funkified by Scary Pockets
Sonos fives a a very different a cappella version of The Jackson 5’s ‘I Want You Back’. I like it, but you can’t quite see baby Groot dancing to this one.
‘Go All the Way’ by the Raspberries was covered by the Killers in the movie Dark Shadows
I know I said we were only doing the popular songs from the movie, but let’s end with Niall Stenson’s cover of the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Theme’;
