‘He Needs Me’ is featured on the Popeye movie soundtrack. Although you may remember hearing the song in Punch Drunk Love. The song was performed by Shelley Duvall as Olive Oyl (in what is arguably one of the best cast comic book roles ever). The song was written by Harry Nilsson, who also did the score.
