Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah

Today we have the 1946 Academy Award winner for best original song; ‘Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah’, from the movie Song of the South

Or maybe you know the song from the Disney attraction Splash Mountain? Either way works for these covers.

Let’s start with a cover by the wonderful jazz trumpeter Louis Armstrong. This jazzy cover is featured on his album Disney Songs the Satchmo Way

Next up is fun version by the a cappella group Voctave. You can hear this one on their album Somewhere There’s Music

I can’t find the artist for this version (only that is was arranged by Dennis Burnside) found on the 1979 album Mickey Mouse Disco

Thanks for listening. Have a wonderful day!
